NANDO'S MICHIGAN AVENUE
To create buzz and awareness around the opening of a new Nando's location on Michigan Avenue, we took the lead in managing an event that supported Social Works, Chance the Rapper's non-profit organization dedicated to Chicago Public Schools. Our responsibilities included A/V setup, security measures, graphics, and photography. Working closely with the Chicago Police Department, local alderman, and the Department of Transportation, we devised a comprehensive security plan that involved shutting down a block of Michigan Avenue to ensure the safety of the 700+ fans who flocked to meet Chance. The event was a resounding success, with close to 200 fans having the opportunity to meet Chance and savor the Nando's experience on Michigan Ave. Media coverage exceeded expectations, generating over 500,000 social media impressions, while Nando's generous donation of $50,000 to Social Works underscored their commitment to the cause. successful restaurants within the global fast-casual chain.
